What can I say? I love short repetitive songs! Three chords over and over, just build things on top of it.
This one focuses on Sue and Johnny Storm's initial reactions just after the crash while the next track (Still Floatin') focuses on Reed and Ben Grimm.
I still get a kick out of the line "cuz our ship flipped over", because the "Ship" sounds like "Shit". I guess we could have worded that a little better. Ha ha, oh well!
lyrics
Laying sprawled out in a field, can’t believe the way I feel
So I ask my brother John “Did you come to any harm?”
Floating backwards in a field, can’t believe my skin didn’t peel
So I ask my sister Sue “What the hell are we gonna do?”
Cause our ship flipped over, yeah our ship flipped over and over
Yeah our ship flipped over, Then our ship flipped over and over
And the greatest thing that you’ll ever see
the greatest thing about you and me
The greatest team the world has ever seen
the greatest team I do believe
